粮食自给项目，阿基诺总统出席启动仪式并讲话。阿基诺表示，菲律宾将在2013年实现大米自给，在2016年实现玉米和木薯等重要粮食产品自给。阿基诺表示，农业部在灌溉和种子方面做了大量工作，加之国际水稻研究所设在菲律宾，明年定能实现大米自给。
